When will Costco stores close?
According to the company, all Costco stores in the United States will close next week, specifically on Thursday, December 25. The closure is due to the Christmas holiday, as the chain has decided to give all employees the day off so they can spend the holiday with their families. Regular service will resume on Friday, December 26.

What days does Costco close?
Costco is known for offering competitive prices and bulk products, but it also stands out for closing on certain key holidays — unlike many other supermarkets that stay open year-round. The company keeps its stores closed on the following seven holidays:
New Year’s Day (January 1)
Easter Sunday
Memorial Day (last Monday of May)

What are Costco’s new hours?
Those with an Executive Membership will now be able to shop earlier during the following times:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
- Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
- Sunday: 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Outside of these hours, Costco locations will continue to operate under their regular schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Saturday: 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or 8:30 p.m.
- Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
